A Day in the Life of a VI

A Day in the Life of a VI

Joseph Danowsky is an advisor and banker at US Trust. In his own words, "I'm legally blind, I don't see well enough to recognize faces, I can't read numbers on street signs or buildings, I don't drive and I cannot read standard print.” Even so, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Economics and then from Harvard Law School. Joseph wants to get the word out about the power of Text To Speech (TTS) technology. He wishes more Visually Impaired people will use it.

In the accompanying video, David Pogue, a technology writer and science presenter, interviews Mr. Danowsky. Watch the video to see (or hear) a typical day in Joseph’s life.
